I hope that things are going well for you and your agency as the year winds down.  Pretty soon we will all be caught up in holiday travel, shopping, worrying about year-end goals and numbers.

I sincerely hope that your agency is on pace to reach its goals this year so that you can enjoy the holiday seasons!

I also hope that our services to you has played and will continue to play at least some small role in your success.

Five weeks ago I talked with an agent for close to an hour about all of the above.  He is new to the internet leads business, but he was excited to learn the "ins and outs" of handling the leads, following up with them, and ultimately closing the deal.  Admittedly, most of the great ideas during the conversation came from him, but he held a meeting later that evening with his staff and re-evaluated their process. 

Combining some of my suggestions with his own knowledge and even a little input from his staff, they increased their close ratio by over 7% in the last month!  That can add up to a lot of money over the course of a year, bigger bonuses, maybe even winning a year-end company trip!  For some, it could be the difference between staying in the game and giving up.

An insurance agent and two of his support staff are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a genie comes out in a puff of smoke.
The Genie says, "I usually only grant three wishes, so I’ll give each of you just one."
"Me first! Me first!" says the first support staffer. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world." Poof! She’s gone.
In astonishment, "Me next! Me next!" says the second staffer. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life." Poof! He’s gone.
"OK, you’re up," the Genie says to the agent. The agent says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch."
Moral of story: always let your boss have the first say.
